This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT underwent a multi-year refurbishment in preparation for the sale that included installing a 460ci V8, repainting the exterior, refreshing the interior, and replacing suspension, power steering, and exhaust components along with the carburetor, starter, battery, and alternator. The truck rides on 15″ American Racing wheels mounted with 35″ BFGoodrich tires, and additional equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, a Weiand intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a black removable hardtop, side steps, air conditioning, and an aftermarket CD stereo.
The left door, windshield, and rear side windows were replaced, the bumpers were re-chromed, and the truck was repainted green with orange gradient-style stripes. Equipment includes a black removable hardtop, chrome bumpers, and side steps.
The 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The power steering pump, power steering gearbox, tie rods, and tie rod ends were replaced in July 2024.
The seats are trimmed in black upholstery and were installed in December 2024. Amenities include replacement carpeting as well as air conditioning, cruise control, and an aftermarket CD stereo.
The steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 90k miles.
The 460ci V8 was installed in 2020 has been fitted with an Edelbrock air cleaner lid and carburetor, a Weiand intake manifold, Ford Motorsport-branded valve covers, and an aluminum radiator. The carburetor, fuel pressure regulator, coolant reservoir, starter, battery, alternator, regulator, mufflers, and engine mounts were replaced during the build.
