This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe is powered by a replacement BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 mated with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in gray with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery. The 18″ Boss wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires measuring 245/45 up front and 275/40 out back. The car is equipped with QA1 adjustable rear shock absorbers, front and rear sway bars, and power steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood calipers over drilled and slotted rotors.
The cabin features bolstered front bucket seats and a factory-style rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a center console, a Hurst shifter, and a retro-style digital stereo.
The billet steering wheel frames an AutoMeter 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The steering wheel rim is gouged. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and features an Edelbrock E-Street EFI system, MSD electronic ignition and distributor, and tubular exhaust headers. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator and an electric fan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been installed and it terminates before the rear axle.
